Central Community Unit School District 301, which serves students in Kane and DeKalb counties, recently highlighted several events and achievements on its official Twitter account.

On October 7, 2025, the district posted about a cross country event: "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: On today's menu, we have Senior Night for the cross country program at Plato Township Park. The girls go first and the boys race second against Huntley and McHenry. #WeAreCentral https://t.co/G18JU7UG7t"
