State Senator Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles) will host a Senior Expo in Carpentersville on Thursday, September 4. The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Dundee Township Park District Rakow Center, located at 665 Barrington Avenue. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

Nearly 50 agencies and organizations focused on senior needs are expected to participate in the expo. According to DeWitte, “We are bringing together close to 50 agencies and organizations that specialize in the needs of seniors, and attendees will be able to collect useful information while visiting the booths,” said DeWitte. “I would encourage all seniors and their families to stop by this event.”

The expo will also offer services such as hearing screenings by the Lions Club, blood pressure checks, vaccinations provided by Walgreens, opportunities to update IPASS transponders, ICASH information, and senior transportation details from PACE and RTA.

DeWitte has represented Illinois’ 33rd Senate District since his election in 2018, succeeding Karen McConnaughay (https://www.ilga.gov/senate/Senator.asp?GA=101&MemberID=2725).

For more information about the event, contact Senator DeWitte’s office at (847) 214-8245 or email Abby at amccarthy@sgop.ilga.gov.
