Central Community Unit School District 301 recently shared updates on various school activities and opportunities via their Twitter account. The district, which encompasses Kane and DeKalb counties, offers educational services through several schools including Central High School and Lily Lake Grade School.

On June 2, the district highlighted its annual Field Day event at Howard B. Thomas Grade School (HBT). "Field Day = Memory Maker Tug of war, water competitions, and nonstop smiles — HBT Field Day brought the fun! Huge shoutout to our staff for making it all happen. #WeAreCentral " The post emphasized the enjoyable activities and recognized the staff's efforts in organizing the event.

The following day, on June 3, Central Community Unit School District 301 posted about an initiative at Lily Lake Grade School designed to familiarize incoming students with first-grade routines. "Looking Ahead at Lily Lake Our first graders gave incoming students a special sneak peek into what first grade is all about! From classroom routines to fun activities, it was a great way to ease nerves and build excitement for next year. #WeAreCentral " This effort aimed to ease new students' transition into their upcoming academic year.

On June 4, the district announced job openings within its Building and Grounds Department for summer positions.
