Pingree Grove will launch a new kayak rental service offered by Rent Fun, starting Monday, May 12, 2025. Residents will be able to make rental requests and payments through Rent Fun's mobile app. Users can scan a QR code located at the rental station by Wester Blvd. gazebo pond or visit the website https://www.rent.fun/kayak-rental/pingree-grove-il.
The cost for kayak rental is set at $9 per hour, and $5 for each additional 30 minutes. The rental fee includes a kayak, paddle, and life vest. Neither the Village nor the Cambridge Lakes Homeowners Association is involved with the physical rentals or payment processing.
