State Representative Dan Ugaste from Geneva has been appointed as an Assistant Republican Leader. This announcement was made by House Republican Leader Tony McCombie, who selected Ugaste to join her leadership team.

"I am honored to have been appointed to this position by Leader McCombie," stated Rep. Ugaste. "I look forward to continuing to advocate for better policies for residents of the 65th District and all of Illinois. We must prioritize our spending and make Illinois a safer and more desirable place to live and work."

Ugaste is entering his fourth term in the Illinois House and will be part of a group tasked with guiding the House Republican Caucus during the 104th General Assembly.

"Representative Ugaste is a strong voice for our caucus, and I am proud to have him as part of my leadership team," said Leader McCombie. "Dan has advocated for common-sense policies that will benefit our state and the families and businesses throughout, and I look forward to working alongside him in this capacity."
