A. Amendment No. 2 to Engineering Services Agreement with Engineering Enterprises, Inc. for Corrosion Control Study ($197,206)
Objective: Provide engineering services analyzing the city water supply to ensure optimal corrosion control treatment before pumping water into the distribution system.
B. Agreement with 120Water for Water Pitcher Filter Distribution and Water Sampling ($500,000)
Objective: Provide services required by the IEPA and USEPA during the completion and implementation of the optimal corrosion control treatment study.
C. Special Events: 2022 Season Wrap Up Report and 2023 Planned Season Overview (No Materials)
Initiatives and Other Items
D. Cultural Arts Commission 2023 Grant Award Recommendations ($57,982) Objective: Distribute grant funds to local organizations to support arts programming in the community.
E. Chiller Replacement at the Hemmens Cultural Center ($1,125,893)
Objective: Replace the aging chillers and provide sufficient cooling capacity for the north addition to the Hemmens Cultural Center.
F. Agreements with Illinois Department of Transportation for Bike Route 4 Phase III Construction ($577,140)
Objective: Utilize the Bike Route 4 – Phase II Engineering plans to construct the improvements.
G. Contract Renewal with Fire Recovery USA, LLC for Billing Services ($45,00 Net Revenue) Objective: Execute a three-year contract with Fire Recovery USA, LLC for billing services relating to certain incidents where the fire department provides emergency services.
