Dewitt County Board met Oct. 1.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Meeting was called to order at 6:06 pm by Chairman Newberg.

Roll was answered by Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Wickenhauser Remote: Houser, Tilley, Ennis, Ferguson.

To Dana Smith

You are hereby directed to call a meeting of the DeWitt County Board. The purpose of said meeting is to conduct the business of the County.

Motion by Pruser second by Reece to approve minutes from August. Aye: Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Nimmo second by Ritter to Award the replacement of the roof project with a contingency amount of $100,000.00. Aye: Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Tom Huffington spoke to the board about the HOOAH program. This is for Veterans with at least 10% Disability. The event is at no charge for the veteran. Everything to participate is provided by HOOAH.

This will take place on the property on the south side of the Marina.

Motion by Wickenhauser second by Redman to approve HOOAH Deer hunt for Veterans. Aye: Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Ferguson to pay all bills. Aye: Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Pruser to replace tow circulation pumps on boiler system-Emergency replacement of $13,500.00. Aye: Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Tilley second by Reece to adjourn at 6:41pm. With all in favor.
