I. Call to Order 

The Forest Preserve District Land Acquisition Committee meeting was held at 8:30 AM at the Administration Offices located at 1996 S. Kirk Road, Suite 320, Geneva, IL 60134. The meeting was opened by Chair Jarett Sanchez at 8:30 AM. Remote=*

II. Approval of Minutes from August 25, 2022 

The minutes were approved by unanimous consent requested by Ford.

IV. Closed Session to Discuss Land Acquisition, License Agreements, Potential Litigation and Personnel 

The Committee moved into Executive Closed Session at 8:35 AM to discuss land acquisition.

RESULT: APPROVED BY ROLLCALL VOTE [UNANIMOUS]

The Committee returned to Open Session at 9:05 AM on a motion by Martin, second by Ford, roll call vote was taken, unanimous vote.

V. New or Unfinished Business 

A. Resolution Approving the Purchase of Two Parcels Totaling Approximately 30.68 Acres Adjacent to Hampshire South Forest Preserve in Hampshire Township 

Exec. Dir. Meyers presented a resolution to approve a purchase of approximately 30.68 acres adjacent to Hampshire South Forest Preserve in Hampshire Township.
