Of the 531,756 citizens living in Kane County in 2020, 94.3 percent said they were only one race, while 5.7 percent said they were two or more races, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained in March.

Of those who said they were one race, the majority identified as white.

Statistical data for 2021 will be released later this year.
