Home prices increased in Geneva during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Geneva rose by $46,450 while total sales decreased by 29.7 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 260 homes sold, with a median sale price of $419,950 - a 12.4 percent increase over the $373,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 370 homes sold in Geneva in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Geneva for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,892, approximately 2.1 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
