Rising home prices in Hampshire in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Hampshire rose by $16,250 while total sales decreased by 31.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 37 homes sold, with a median sale price of $325,000 - a 5.3 percent increase over the $308,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 54 homes sold in Hampshire in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Hampshire for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,830, approximately 2.1 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
