Batavia MainStreet is BACK with a FULL calendar of events for 2022!
Here at Batavia MainStreet we work hard to make our downtown the heart of our community. Please consider joining us in our vision to help create a unique and vital downtown area.
But, in order to do that we need your help! Each year we typically have over 1,500 volunteers donate over 2,000 hours in order to make Downtown Batavia everyone's neighborhood and the place to live, work and play! There are TONS of volunteer opportunities with lots of different jobs - big and small. These volunteer jobs don't require a long-term commitment, but just a couple of hours of your time is EXTREMELY helpful.

Come help Batavia MainStreet provide a fun, family friendly event on Saturday, April 16! Can you help break down tents, and take down signs in the afternoon, or is helping kids during the 3 & under egg hunt more your style? Either way, there is an opportunity for you. Dedicated to showcasing Batavia restaurants and raising funds for Batavia MainStreet, volunteers are needed to ensure this event runs smoothly for our community! Do you want to help AND attend Cocktails in the Park? Yes, you can do both! Sign up slots are available for Saturday morning to help setup or Sunday morning to break down. There are many other volunteer opportunities to help make this event a success. Basset certified volunteers are needed as bartenders for a fun and fast paced evening, and we are also looking for people to help at the check in table or sell raffle tickets for an hour or so. Join us in serving a locally sourced dinner to 200 community members in an effort to raise funds for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. It takes LOTS of hands to serve food and drinks to 200 people, can YOU share a few hours of your week as a food runner, dish busser, or beverage volunteer? Please sign up here to volunteer.
Help Batavia MainStreet throw their annual Block Party on Labor Day weekend. Filled with food tastings from our local restaurants, live music and performances you are in for a night of fun! Yes, we need volunteers to help setup and cleanup, but there's lots of opportunities for a relaxing couple of hours - staff the MainStreet tent or be a gate volunteer. Either way, you'll get to enjoy a late summer evening in beautiful downtown Batavia! Please sign up here to volunteer.
