City of Geneva Natural Resources Committee met Aug. 5.

• Earth Day Event, April 25, 2020 – Cancelled
i. Look at Fall for a new date
• Eastside Fire Station Natural Landscaping Project
i. Dan Ludwig is still in NJ, he will cancel the plant orders. Redo in Spring of 2021.
• River Clean-up Day
i. Look forward to 2020 event.
• Rain Barrels for sale
i. Have sold three barrels, still have four terra cotta in storage.
• Greening Geneva Initiative
i. Total trees planted by NRC and GPDF in 2019 is 348.
ii. Community Canopy – an Arbor Day Foundation Program.
• Wine, Cheese, and Trees.
i. The WCT event was a huge success.
ii. Update on final revenue numbers from Foundation.
iii. Look at planting trees this Fall.
• TreeHab USA
i. Next presentation TBD.
• Fabyan Preserve Stewardship
i. Workdays are will begin again in October.
• Elm Park Restoration Work

• Garner support and funds for a few recycle bins for downtown.
