Illinois State Senate District 26 issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
As Veterans Day approaches, and we look for ways to honor Illinois veterans and tell their incredible stories, State Sen. Dan McConchie is asking constituents to submit a photo and tribute to a loved one who has served in the United States Armed Forces to be displayed on the Veterans Day “Wall of Honor” in the Illinois State Capitol Nov. 4-15.
Constituents are asked to submit photos and written stories along with the following information: name, military branch, and conflict served. Military photos are preferred, but not necessary.
If you wish to honor a veteran, click here to download a submission form. Forms must be submitted by Nov. 3.
