Hampshire home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Hampshire fell by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 14.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $246,000 - a 1.6% decrease over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 71 homes sold in Hampshire in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hampshire for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,438, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
