Hampshire home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Hampshire fell by $2,750 while total sales increased by 10.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 51 homes sold, with a median sale price of $245,000 - a 1.1% decrease over the $247,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Hampshire in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hampshire for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,438, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
