North Aurora home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in North Aurora rose by $13,550 while total sales decreased by 28%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $263,500 - a 5.4% increase over the $249,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 100 homes sold in North Aurora in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,597.40, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
