Sleepy Hollow home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Sleepy Hollow fell by $52,500 while total sales decreased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $267,000 - a 16.4% decrease over the $319,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Sleepy Hollow in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Sleepy Hollow for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $7,778.60, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
