North Aurora home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in North Aurora rose by $35,500 while total sales increased by 13.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 59 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 16.6% increase over the $214,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 52 homes sold in North Aurora in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,597.40, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
