St. Charles (Kane County) home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in St. Charles in Kane County rose by $11,250 while total sales increased by 5.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 101 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 4.3% increase over the $263,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 96 homes sold in St. Charles in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Charles for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,765.60, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
