Scraper-Moecherville home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Scraper-Moecherville rose by $12,500 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 18.5% increase over the $67,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Scraper-Moecherville in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Scraper-Moecherville for 2017 was $1,507.26. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,476.10. This marks an increase of 2.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
