Hampshire home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Hampshire fell by $4,250 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 1.9% decrease over the $229,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Hampshire in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Hampshire for 2017 was $6,437.98. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,373. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
