City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
The Aurora Snow Team was deployed at 4 a.m. this morning to salt the roadways ahead of the snow. Primary roadways are being salted completely and residential streets are being salted down the middle for the first rotation.
A steady light snowfall is expected to fall throughout the day with accumulations of up to 3 inches. The Aurora Snow Team will operate in rotation for the duration.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling.
