Administrators in East Aurora School District 131 earn an average of $93,573 per year, ranking 538th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 3.9% lower than in 2014 and 1.3% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 12.8% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Kane County school district enrolled 14061 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 182 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
