City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
All non-emergency City offices will be closed this on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25, as well as Monday, December 31 and Tuesday, January 1.
The Edward Schock Centre of Elgin will limited hours as well:
Monday, 12/24: Open 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday, 12/25: Closed
Monday, 12/31: Open 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday, 1/1: Open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
