City of St. Charles issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
Refuse Collection and Leaf Pick Up Delayed
Due to the Nov. 25 snow storm, these city services will be delayed:
Refuse & Recylcing Pick Up
Lakeshore Recycling will not be collecting refuse or recycling Monday, Nov. 26.
Weather permitting, refuse pickup will begin Tuesday for the east side of the river and continue Wednesday on the west side of the river.
This also will delay collection for apartment complexes and city buildings for the entire week, continuing into Saturday.
Curbside Leaf Collection
The final leaf collection will not begin Monday, Nov. 26, as previously scheduled.
Weather permitting, leaf collection will begin Tuesday. As a reminder, it takes a week to complete leaf collection.
Free Bagged Leaf Pick Up is Available all December
Free bagged leaf collection will be available throughout December to dispose of any remaining leaves.
