Analysis: Montgomery pays $4.67 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Montgomery & Countryside Fpd Firefighter's Pension

Taxpayers contributed 82.4 percent of the $52,171 the Montgomery & Countryside Fpd Firefighter's Pension brought in last year, or $4.67 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Montgomery contributed $42,975 to the fund, which saw a $739 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $9,196, or 17.6 percent, in 2016.
