Unpaid fines for Geneva-based campaign committee totaled $4,275 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Geneva has overdue fines amounting to a total of $4,275, records obtained by the Kane County Reporter show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Friends of Bob McQuillan was the only campaign committee in Geneva that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Friends of Bob McQuillan has yet to pay was imposed on June 8, 2015, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $3,350.
