A. Consideration of Renewal of a Property Insurance Program for the Period July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 ($227,144) Objective: Protect the city’s financial resources and provide business interruption insurance.

B. Sikich LLC Audit Presentation
Jim Savio, Partner of Sikich, LLP will provide an overview of the city of Elgin’s 2016 Consolidated Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
C. Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones) Presentation
Fire Chief David Schmidt will provide a presentation regarding the latest technology available to police and fire departments to help mitigate emergency incidents. These devices not only provide a new visual perspective to the Incident Commander, but they can also be deployed to provide critical reconnaissance ahead of personnel deployment.

D. Consideration of Amendment No. 1 with Wills Burke Kelsey and Associates to Add Construction Administration Engineering Services for 2017 Street Resurfacing Program - East ($107,382) Objective: Ensure quality infrastructure and strengthen the city’s neighborhoods by administrating the construction of a street maintenance project.
E. Consideration of Amendment No. 1 with Crawford Murphy and Tilly Inc. to Add Construction Administration Engineering Services for 2017 Street Resurfacing Program – Southwest ($195,880) Objective: Ensure quality infrastructure and strengthen the city’s neighborhoods by administrating the construction of a street maintenance project.
F. Consideration of Ride in Kane Program with Pace ($100,000)
Objective: Fund the city’s 2017 contribution for the Ride in Kane Program in partnership with Pace.
G. Consideration of Resident Only Parking Restriction in the Summerhill Neighborhood Adjacent to Elgin High School (No cost to the City) Objective: Respond to requests from residents to alleviate on-street parking congestion created by students and bus drivers.
H. Consideration of Implementing Odd/Even Parking on Stewart Avenue and Parkway Avenue (No cost to the City) Objective: Improve service delivery, traffic flow and parking congestion in the Stewart and Parkway Avenues area.
I. Consideration of Odd/Even Parking Trial Along Poplar Creek Drive to Include Resident Only Parking Trial in the Longford Circle Neighborhood and on Campus Drive ($3,784) Objective: Respond to on-street parking congestion throughout the area.
J. Consideration of Removal of East-West Stop Signs on Slade Avenue at Center Street (No cost to the City) Objective: Respond to community feedback to improve traffic flow within the neighborhood.PLEASE NOTE: The City of Elgin is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
