Elburn Board of Trustees met Monday, Sept. 12.
The Village Board is comprised of six trustees elected at large, and the President of the Board of Trustees who is also referred to as the mayor. The term of all elected officials is four years.
The board also meets in committee of the whole format on the first and third Monday at 7:00 pm or following the Village Board meetings. All meetings are open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend. There is a brief public comment period near the beginning of the Village Board meetings.

PRESENT: President David Burroughs, Vice-President Aimee Miller, Treasurer
Stephanie Butler, Secretary Jenny Wold, Trustees Phil Albano (via conference call) and Library Director Glenn Kahmann.
ABSENT: Trustees Kelly Gagne, M. J. Hansen.
LATE ARRIVALS: Trustee Kelly Gagne.
ALSO PRESENT: Staffers Kathy Semrick, Dwayne Nelson, and Amy Girmscheid.
CALL TO ORDER President Burroughs called the Public Hearing of the Board of Trustees of the Town and Country Public Library District to order at 7:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL President Burroughs requested the roll be called. All Trustees were present, with the exception of Trustees Gagne and Hansen.
PUBLIC COMMENT President Burroughs welcomed persons attending.
PUBLIC HEARING AND DISCUSSION ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS ORONANCE No. 2O6-2 AND THE CERTIFICATION OF ESTIMATED REVENUES Board discussion regarding the Budget and the Appropriations Ordinance had already occurred at several Board meetings preceding this Public Hearing. There were no visitors attending this hearing.
FINAL ACTION ON ORDINANCE NO. 2015-2 AND THE CERTIFICATION OF ESTIMATED REVENUES Treasurer Butler moved to adopt Ordinance 2016-2, An Ordinance Providing for Budget and Appropriations of the Town and Country Public Library District, Kane County, Illinois, for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2016 and Ending June 30, 2017 and the Certification of Estimated Revenues 2016-2107. Trustee Albano seconded the motion.
