Aurora has launched its annual Gifts From Home program, which aims to support active-duty military members from the city during the holiday season. The initiative provides each service member with a care package containing a gift and a card from the Mayor.
The submission period for this year’s program is now open and will continue until November 11. Residents are encouraged to participate by submitting names of Aurora military members who are currently serving.
The Gifts From Home program is designed to bring comfort and connection to local service members who are away from home during the holidays.
