The City of Aurora announced it will lower flags at all municipal buildings following a directive from Governor JB Pritzker. The order comes in honor of former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar, who died on Sunday after battling pancreatic cancer.
According to the notice, flags will remain at half-staff until the day of Governor Edgar's interment.
