Central Community Unit School District 301 shared updates on student achievements and school events in a series of posts on September 12, 2025.

In one post, the district congratulated a student for her recognition in a regional competition: "Congrats to CHS Senior Kendall Grigg! Her work was selected among the Top 10 entries this wk for the Kane County Regional Office of Education’s Student Photography Contest under the theme Architecture. Way to represent Central 301 w/ creativity & talent! #WeAreCentral " (September 12, 2025).

The district also highlighted a recent event at Central Middle School: "Back to School Night at CMS What a fantastic turnout! Families had the chance to meet our new principal, Matt Palcer, & connect w/the 8th grade instruction team. Thank you to everyone who joined us to kick off another great year at Central MS! #WeAreCentral " (September 12, 2025).

Central Community Unit School District 301 serves Kane and DeKalb counties and includes several schools such as Central High School and Central Middle School. The district has about 280 teachers with an average salary of $58,199; most are women and none have more than ten absences per year. The student population is predominantly White (65.3%), with Hispanic (16.5%), Asian (12.2%), and Black (2.1%) students represented as well. In fiscal year 2020, spending per student was $19,244, totaling nearly $85 million for the district (Illinois State Board of Education).
