Central Community Unit School District 301 shares updates on jobs and resources ahead of new school year

Central Community Unit School District 301 has recently used its social media platform to share information about communication opportunities, job openings, and back-to-school resources with families and community members.

On August 5, 2025, the district posted an invitation for families and stakeholders to stay informed by joining its communication list: " Want to know what’s really happening in Central 301? Sign up for our communication list! From In The Loop features & family stories to updates, celebrations, & photos — it’s a great way to stay connected. The following day, on August 6, 2025, the district highlighted employment opportunities within the school system: "Workin’ on Wednesdays We’ve got some great opportunities across Central 301 — come join the team! LEARN MORE: https://t.co/MX8I1V0pZ5 #WeAreCentral https://t.co/pZ3yH13k1G"

As students prepared for the new academic year, another post on August 7, 2025 provided information about local events and programs available through a digital bulletin board: " Back-to-school season is here! Central Community Unit School District 301 serves both Kane and DeKalb counties and encompasses several schools including Central High School and Prairie Knolls Middle School. The district reported spending $19,244 per student in 2020 with a total expenditure of over $84 million (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). Its teaching staff numbers around 280 educators with an average salary of $58,199 before pension contributions; approximately three-quarters are women and no teachers have more than ten absences annually (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). Demographically, the student body is predominantly White at just over sixty-five percent but also includes Hispanic (16.5%), Asian (12.2%), and Black (2.1%) populations (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
