During the Fourth of July enforcement initiative, Batavia police officers conducted a series of traffic stops and issued numerous citations. A total of 57 traffic stops were made by the officers.
The enforcement resulted in 56 citations being issued. Among these, 37 were for speeding, one for distracted driving, and 18 for other violations. Additionally, three arrests were made during this period. These included one arrest for DUI involving alcohol, another for DUI involving drugs, and one arrest for driving without a valid license.
