State Representative Dan Ugaste (IL) | Representative Dan Ugaste (R) 65th District
State Representatives Dan Ugaste and Jeff Keicher are organizing a Kids Fair on June 21 at Chapelstreet Church in Geneva, Illinois. The event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church located at 3435 Keslinger Road.
The family-friendly event offers free admission, refreshments, and giveaways. Highlights include demonstrations by the Kane County Sheriff K-9 Office, Traveling World of Reptiles Show, DancEncounter School of Dance, and World Martial Arts Academy. Additionally, a medical helicopter from Superior Air Medical will make an appearance at 10 a.m., with a bicycle drawing set for 11:15 a.m.
“Summer is here and the Kids Fair is always a big hit for local families,” said Rep. Ugaste. “Come out and join the fun!”
Children can enjoy 27 Touch-A-Truck activities along with face-painting stations. Other activities include fire safety puppet shows, I-Cash information sessions, transportation guidance, tutoring services, child ID registration, childcare assistance, among others. More than 50 local businesses and various state agencies and departments are involved in the fair.
“The support we receive for this event every year is truly remarkable,” commented Rep. Keicher. “We are so thankful for all of the volunteers and members of our local communities who attend.”
