On May 22, 2025, the district celebrated a historic achievement for its Rockets team with their first-ever playoff game at Rocket Hill resulting in their first playoff win in school history. In a tweet, they stated: "1st playoff game ever at Rocket Hill. 1st playoff win in school history. What a day for the Rockets!"

Later that day, another update was provided regarding the boys' track team as they prepared to compete in the IHSA Class 3A Sectional at Huntley. The district also mentioned other sporting events happening that afternoon: "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: The boys track team heads to Huntley with their eyes on a trip downstate...
