Central Community Unit School District 301, representing Kane and DeKalb counties, recently shared updates on local sports events and a memorable moment for graduating seniors. The district encompasses several schools, including Central High School and Country Trails Elementary School.

On May 19, the district highlighted an upcoming boys lacrosse match against Hampshire, describing it as a rivalry that is heating up. The tweet read: "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: The boys lacrosse rivalry heats up with Hampshire tonight."

The following day, on May 20, another post from the district featured a girls softball game against St. Charles North, the defending Illinois State Champion. The announcement stated: "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: A girls softball battle with defending Illinois State Champion St. Charles North!"

Later that same day, the district shared a sentimental moment for seniors of the Class of 2025. They returned to their elementary school for one last walk through its halls. The tweet expressed this occasion as: " One last walk through Country Trails @301_chs seniors from the Class of 2025 visited their elementary school this week for a final photo and a few special moments where it all began."
