CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza, Alderman John Laesch and Alderman Ted Mesiacos

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

25-0261 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee held on March 25, 2025.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

25-0127 A Resolution approving estimated payments not to exceed $114,000.00 to Suburban Law Enforcement Academy for police recruit training in 2025.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0243 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class D: Fox Valley Mall Entertainment District On-Site Consumption liquor licenses (unofficially related to the application from Foodiva, LLC d/b/a Bawarchi Biryanis at 4250 Fox Valley Center Drive, Aurora). [Ward 10]

Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk - City of Aurora and Rama Krishna Nimmagadda, Owner at Foodive LLC presented and answered questions in regards to this item.

A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0268 A Resolution to approve a rental agreement with East Aurora School District 131 for the City of Aurora's Youth Services division.

Simon Rodriguez, Youth Services Manager - City of Aurora presented and answered questions in regards to this item.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0269 A Resolution to approve a rental agreement with West Aurora School District 129 for the City of Aurora's Youth Services division.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0278 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing or their designee to execute a service agreement with Oxcart Permit Systems, LLC for the creation and processing of online overweight and over-sized commercial motor vehicle permit applications.
