The City of St. Charles will hold an event on May 5, 2025, to administer the Oath of Office to officials elected in the recent April 1 Consolidated Election. The event will begin at 7 p.m. with the outgoing City Council conducting its final meeting.
Once the current council has completed its actions, the newly elected officials will be sworn in at Fire Station 1. The ceremony, scheduled to start at approximately 7:15 p.m., will include Mayor-Elect Clint Hull and several alderpersons: Ward 1 Ronald Silkaitis, Ward 2 Ryan S. Bongard, Ward 3 Alderperson-Elect Vicki Spellman, Ward 3 Robert W. “Bob” Gehm, Ward 4 Bryan Wirball, Ward 5 Steve Weber, Clerk-Elect Susan Hanson, and Treasurer John R. Harrill.
After the swearing-in, the newly seated City Council will convene its first official meeting at around 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 2 E. Main Street, St. Charles.
