Aurora Animal Care and Control is marking National Animal Control Appreciation Week with a special adoption event. The initiative targets first responders, inviting them to adopt any animal at a reduced fee of $30.

The offer extends to all first responders, regardless of their residence or departmental affiliation. This gesture is part of a broader effort to recognize their contributions to the community.

Interested individuals can explore the animals available for adoption by visiting Aurora Animal Care and Control's website. The facility is located at 600 S. River Street in Aurora, with adoption hours running from 12 to 4 PM, Monday through Saturday.
