Central Community Unit School District 301 recently shared a series of updates on their official social media account, highlighting various activities and opportunities within the district. The posts reflect the district's engagement with students and the community, as well as career opportunities available.

On March 17, 2025, Central Community Unit School District 301 posted about an engaging classroom activity for St. Patrick’s Day. In Ms. Buetow’s first-grade class at Howard B. Thomas Grade School, students participated in a creative exercise where they attempted to catch a leprechaun using traps they built in pairs. Despite their efforts, "that sneaky leprechaun still managed to escape, leaving behind quite the mess!" #WeAreCentral was used to emphasize the spirit of the school community.

On March 19, 2025, another post announced job openings within the district under the tagline "WORKIN' ON WEDNESDAYS." The district is seeking new hires to join their team and make a difference in education. Interested candidates are encouraged to explore these career opportunities through a provided link: #WeAreCentral.

The following day, on March 20, 2025, Central Community Unit School District 301 highlighted Alex Paszt in their "#Homegrown" series. This initiative shares inspiring stories of graduates who have returned to contribute to their communities.
