CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza, Alderman John Laesch and Alderman Ted Mesiacos

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

25-0044 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee meeting held on January 14, 2025.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT

24-0855 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class D: Downtown Fringe On-Site Consumption liquor licenses and self-service endorsements (unofficially related to the application from Rec Haus LLC at 100 S River St). [Ward 4]

Jennifer Stallings - City Clerk, Tracey Vacek - Senior Planner, City of Aurora, and Eric the Owner of Rec Haus presented and answered question regarding this item.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

25-0070 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of licenses for tattoo and body art establishments in accordance with Chapter 25, Article XI "Tattoo and Body Art Establishments".

Lisa Zepeda, Manager of Revenue & Collection, Alex Voigt, Deputy Chief of Staff - City of Aurora and Brandon Rodriguez, Owner of Paradise Tattoo Parlor presented and answered questions regarding this item.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Saville adjourned the meeting at 4:35 pm.
