On February 17, the school district celebrated a milestone in its wrestling program. "HISTORY! Highlighting a group of Central Wrestling state qualifiers is Tori Macias. She is the first ever IHSA Sectional Champion in Girls Wrestling in Central Rockets history!" This achievement marks an important moment for the school's athletics.
