Central Community Unit School District 301 recently shared several updates on their social media platform, highlighting significant achievements and events within the district. These posts cover topics from sports accomplishments to community service initiatives.

On February 4, 2025, the Central Girls Wrestling Team achieved a historic milestone by securing three individual champions at the IHSA Regional, marking a first in Rockets girls wrestling history. The winners included Victoria Macias (115 lbs), Soraya Walikonis (130 lbs), and Ryann Miller (170 lbs). "LET'S HEAR IT! The Central Girls Wrestling Team made program history with 3 individual champions—the first IHSA Regional champions in Rockets girls wrestling history."

The following day, February 5, 2025, was marked as School Counselor Appreciation Week. The district expressed gratitude towards its school counselors for their commitment to supporting students' academic and emotional well-being. " It's School Counselor Appreciation Week! Later that day, an announcement was made about an upcoming blood drive organized by the @301_chs Service Club. Scheduled for February 6 in the Main Gym, this event represents the third blood drive of the school year. Participants were encouraged to sign up and direct any inquiries to service-club.chs@central301.net. "Give blood, give love! @301_chs Service Club will be hosting its third blood drive of the school year tomorrow in the Main Gym."
