A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Kane County Sheriff's Office on January 7, 2025. The request, made by us at the Kane County Reporter, seeks comprehensive data on all arrests made in the county throughout the year 2024.
The specific information requested includes arrestee names, dates of arrest, gender and race of arrestees, their dates of birth, and the crimes they were arrested for.
