Central Community Unit School District 301 recently shared several updates on their Twitter account. The posts highlight various events and activities within the district, as well as community engagements.
On December 12, 2024, the school district announced a wrestling event hosted at Rocket Hill. "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: The boys wrestling team is back at Rocket Hill hosting Dundee-Crown." They also invited the community to celebrate the Central High School Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Inductees on February 7 during a basketball doubleheader.
Later that day, another post mentioned an assembly at Howard B. Thomas Grade School with a visit from the Chicago Steel hockey team. "STRONG AS STEEL! It's so cold today that we have the entire student body at Howard B. Thomas Grade School thinking about hockey." The tweet expressed gratitude towards Chicago Steel for engaging with students.
