A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Jessica Craig, a Kane County resident, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastasized inflammatory breast cancer.

According to their GoFundMe page, Jessica, a wife and mother of two young children, Calvin, age three, and Jackson, just five months old, has been diagnosed with metastatic inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer that has spread throughout her body. This condition requires immediate and intensive medical treatment, including chemotherapy, surgeries, and other therapies.

Due to the severity of the diagnosis and the demands of treatment, Jessica will be unable to work in the coming months. The fundraiser was organized by Amanda DesJarlais and Nicole Craig to provide financial relief for Jessica and her family as they face this challenging time.

“We are hoping this can be one less thing they have to worry about as she fights to get rid of this nasty disease, and can continue to be the wonderful mom and wife to Alex, Cal and Jack that she already is,” according to Jessica's GoFundMe page. “All funds donated will be going directly to the family for medical bills, meals, child care and anything they need help with through this difficult time.”

Wellwishers can leave a message for Jessica on her CaringBridge page.
