State Representatives Dan Ugaste and Jeff Keicher are collaborating with the Elburn Police Department for a Prescription Drug Drop Off Event on Wednesday, July 10, from 9-11 a.m. The event will take place at the Elburn Police Department, located at 301 E. North St., Elburn. This free outdoor event allows residents to remain in their vehicles while safely disposing of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs. Participants are encouraged to bring medications in sealed plastic bags if possible.

Additionally, State Senator Don DeWitte and Rep. Ugaste are partnering with the Illinois Tollway for an event also scheduled for July 10. It will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the lawmakers’ shared office in St. Charles. Attendees will have the opportunity to update their IPASS technology to new stickers that replace plastic transponders. Once activated, these sticker tags can be used on the Illinois tollway and E-Z Pass roadways in other states within 24 hours of activation.
