On Saturday, December 30, former Riverside Brookfield High School standout, Joevonn McCottry’s current college team, the Aurora Spartans, lost 80-81 in their NCAA D3 game against the Monmouth Fighting Scots.

The game took place in Monmouth, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Monmouth Fighting Scots this season.

The Aurora Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3 at 7 p.m. in River Forest, Illinois.
